BetterBone® Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

At BetterBone, we are committed to preserving the integrity, value, and reputation of our BetterBone® brand. To maintain consistent brand positioning and support our retail partners, we have established a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy. This policy is designed to ensure fair competition among resellers and to uphold the premium image and quality standards of BetterBone products.

Policy Overview
This MAP Policy applies to all retailers, distributors, and resellers of BetterBone products who advertise and sell to end users—both online and in physical stores. The policy covers all public-facing advertisements, including websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, print, and other forms of media. Note: In-store signage and in-store promotions that are not visible online are exempt from this policy.

Pricing Guidelines

The current MAP and MSRP pricing for BetterBone products is as follows and is arranged by size:
MINI SIZE MSRP: $12.49 / MAP: $10.99
SMALL SIZE MSRP: $18.99 / MAP: $14.99
LARGE SIZE MSRP: $24.99 / MAP: $19.99

International Sales Compliance
For resellers outside the U.S., MAP pricing must be converted to local currency and updated monthly in accordance with exchange rates.

Online Advertising Standards
All public online prices—regardless of location on the website—must comply with the MAP policy until the point of purchase. Acceptable phrases include:
• “Add to cart to see price,”
• “Call for price,”
• “See price at checkout.”
• No price below MAP may be shown before checkout.

What Constitutes an 'Advertised Price'
Only the listed product price is considered the advertised price. Shipping charges, taxes, or additional fees are excluded. For example: Advertised as: $6 + $3.99 shipping = $6 advertised price (MAP violation if MAP is $10.99).

Modifications & Exceptions
BetterBone retains the discretion to update pricing, authorize promotional exceptions, and revise the MAP Policy to reflect market conditions. No employee may alter this policy unless authorized in writing.

Policy Enforcement & Violations
Violations will result in formal warnings, suspension of supply, or termination of reseller status. Repeat violations will result in permanent removal from our network.
