Many everyday products—including most brand-name durable chew toys—are made from petroleum-derived plastics & chemical laden raw-hide. Which create millions of microplastic particles that your dog is ingesting, and potentially contain harmful chemicals you'd rather your best friend avoid.

BetterBone was developed with a different philosophy: to reduce reliance on petroleum-based inputs, and unfortunate chemicals used to make rawhide, and create a more innovative, responsible, & modern material standard—while still delivering the durable chew experience loved.

For your dog, the safest—and healthiest—chew experience comes from the right match: their chewing strength, age, and size. That’s why BetterBone is offered in three durabilities, so you can choose what supports comfortable chewing and helps reduce the risk of chewing something that’s too tough or too easy.

• Soft — best for gentle chewers, puppies (supervised), and seniors who benefit from an easier chew. Similar to rawhide in durability.
  
• Medium/Moderate — the balanced choice for most dogs and everyday chewing. Similar to nylon in durability but not in composition.
  
• Hard — ideal for power chewers who need maximum durability.Similar to Antler in durability.
  

If you’re unsure, start with Medium, then adjust based on how your dog chews and how quickly they work through it. Always supervise chewing and replace when pieces become small enough to swallow.

Many chews include ingredients that can be problematic for sensitive dogs, and even nylon plastic which your dog will ingest.
